Departure time at 05:00 P.M. from Uyuni city to watch the sunset in the world’s largest salt flat , not after moving to a different location to observe reflections (depending on the season) Around 07:00 p.m. departure towards a different locations in the salt flats about 30 minutes, after this observe stars, planets, Milky Way, nebula and other astronomical bodies. Back in Uyuni approximately 10:30 a.m. hours. With its high altitude, arid climate, and low population density (which translates to minimal light pollution), Uyuni offers some of the clearest nighttime views of the stars, moon, and planets. But it’s just one of many destinations around the world that cater to celestial enthusiasts—and where the nighttime views rival those in the daytime. While you can find a lot of astronomical photographs on the web, there is nothing like the experience of visual observing.

During the rainy season from January to April, the Salt Flats fill up with water so it is not possible to cross them in the same way as during dry season. As a consequence, the itinerary is modified during that period. The main changes are usually as follows:

• we stop at a place where the water reflects the sky and where it seems that the sky and the ground merge into one. DEPENDING ON THE SEASON

Sun hat, sunglasses (to protect your eyes from the bright glare off the salt panes), sunblock, coat, gloves, wool hat, trekking shoes, warm socks, swimsuit and towel for hot springs at Sol de Manana Geysers, extra bottle of water , snacks, personal medication. Flashlight/torch, camera, extra batteries and memory card, charger ,hand sanitizer, personal first aid kit., temperatures can drop well below zero (reaching less than -15 degrees Celsius in the winter months of June and July) and the wind chill can be harsh, so bring plenty of warm clothes like a scarf and wool hat for the chilly evenings.

NOTE: As you will come back to your departure point, please ONLY BRING the necessary material & clothes during the tour.
